Costs of Living
Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries claims that Democrats “are focused on building an affordable economy that lowers the high cost of living in America.”
IN FACT, Democrats have enacted or actively support at least 10 policies that increase the costs of living:
1) Government money printing, which causes inflation.
2) Increased spending on social programs, which cost each household in the U.S. an average of $42,175 per year.
3) Pervasive and aggressive government regulations, which raise the costs of products and services.
4) Opposing and slandering DOGE’s efforts to reduce the hundreds of billions of dollars per year that the federal government loses to waste, fraud, and abuse.
5) Green energy mandates, which inflate the costs of energy and virtually everything else.
6) Mass illegal immigration, which drives up government spending and causes major increases in homelessness.
7) Subsidizing the purchase of housing, education, and other products, which inflates their prices.
8) Covid-19 lockdowns, which disrupted supply chains, were pushed with misinformation from the left, and were stricter and longer in Democrat states.
9) Increasing the minimum wage, which destroys jobs and increases the costs of living.
10) Mass unionization, which raises taxes and consumer prices.
