Income & Wealth Inequality
U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) claims that the “greed of the billionaire class” has created “more income and wealth inequality than has ever existed in the history of the United States.”
IN FACT, Sanders vocally supports at least four major causes of income & wealth inequality:
- Government social programs, which reduce incentives and means to work and save.
- Government money printing, which increases the wealth of asset holders, while making assets less affordable for people with little wealth.
- Aggressive regulations, which make it hard for small businesses to compete with major corporations.
- Liberal ethics about sex, which create household fragmentation that dilutes workers’ incomes.
