Former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan is still claiming that “Trump in 2017 referred to Nazis as ‘very fine people’.”
IN FACT, Trump actually called the neo-Nazis “very bad people,” stated that he “condemned” them, and emphasized that the “very fine people” were those who showed up to “innocently” and “legally” protest.
Quoting people out of context is a tactic of demagogues, and the media has repeatedly done this to Trump.
