Indicting Political Opponents

This is the latest In Fact. Click the left arrow for earlier ones.

CBS News is reporting that Trump said “he or another Republican president could use” the “Justice Department to indict” their political “opponents.”

IN FACT, reporters are twisting Trump’s words again. He actually said that Democrats have set a bad precedent of indicting their political opponents, and this could “happen in reverse,” but “the people aren’t going to stand for it.”

The media have repeatedly distorted Trump’s words to make it seem like he said the polar opposite of what he actually said. Some examples include:

– the “very fine people” hoax.
– the “dominate peaceful protesters” hoax.
– the “inciting insurrection” hoax.
