On August 9, 2019 - one day before Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in a prison cell - a federal court unsealed more than 2,000 pages of documents that implicated wealthy and powerful people in Epstein's sex crimes. These include but aren't limited to Bill Clinton, former Democratic National Committee Chairman Bill Richardson, and Britain's Prince Andrew. These records also implicated federal officials in covering up the crimes. On the night of Epstein's arrest a few weeks earlier, FBI agents searched his NYC mansion and found a sexually explicit trove of photos and CDs labeled with the names of "young" females alongside people other than Epstein. The FBI then left the CDs at Epstein's house, allowing one of his partners to take the evidence and potentially scrub it before giving it to the feds. More than a dozen facts prove that federal officials repeatedly mishandled evidence that could incriminate others in Epstein's sex crimes and placed his life in danger just before his death.
