When the child sex trafficking activities of Jeffrey Epstein became public in 2019, ABC News reporter Amy Robach stated in a leaked video, "I've had the story for three years" but ABC "would not put it on the air" even though one of the victims "had pictures" and "it was unbelievable what we had - Clinton - we had everything." When this video became public after an ABC insider sent it to Project Veritas, Robach released a statement claiming she was "caught in a private moment of frustration" and that her comments about "Bill Clinton on Epstein's private island were in reference" to what one of the victims told her during an "interview in 2015," "not what ABC News had verified through our reporting." In the same leaked video, Robach stated, "So do I think he [Epstein] was killed? 100% Yes, I do. He made his whole living blackmailing people," including "a lot of powerful men" who traveled on his private planes, spent time on his private island, and visited his apartment.
