Correct Answer

Tell Me More

The Department of Homeland Security's Inspector General found that 45 Secret Service employees accessed the personnel file of Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz within 10 days after he led a 2015 hearing into allegations of corruption in the Secret Service, even though "only four had an arguably legitimate need to do so." The first of these was a Secret Service agent who illegitimately accessed Chaffetz's file within 18 minutes of the start of the hearing. The Obama administration, which was then in charge of the Secret Service, did not fire any of the employees but disciplined them with "measures ranging from a letter of reprimand to suspensions without pay for up to 45 days."
