What portion of Americans say they would be willing to spend at least 10% more to buy a product that is made in the USA?
A recent nationally representative poll conducted by Ipsos for Reuters found that 37% of Americans say they are willing to pay at least 10% more to buy a product that is made in the USA. In detail, 4% say they are willing to pay 100% more, 3% say 50% more, 9% say 25% more, 21% say 10% more, 26% say 5% more, and 37% say they are not willing to pay anything more. The same poll found that 70% say it is "very important" or "somewhat important" to buy products made in the USA.
