A 2011 report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office found that 173 non-citizens living in the U.S. were convicted of crimes in terrorism-related cases since 9/11/01. Among these people, 68 were living in the U.S. illegally and 105 legally. These figures do not include immigrants who had become U.S. citizens or convictions since March of 2010.
