Tell Me More

On the Friday before July 4th weekend, the U.S. Marine Corps instituted "the most significant" changes to its physical fitness requirements since 1972. These new requirements allow men and women to perform pushups instead of pullups on the physical fitness test. Previously, the Corps decided that women must be able to do at least three pullups, but after half of the women in boot camp could not, they changed the standards. The Marines and all armed forces are under the control of the President of the United States.
