“Very Fine People”
President Biden claims that when “white supremacists gathered in Charlottesville spouting sick, anti-semitic bile,” “Trump said there were ‘very fine people on both sides’.”
IN FACT, Trump called the white supremacists “very bad people” and directly “condemned” them twice. When he used the phrase “very fine people,” Trump explicitly stated, “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis.”
