IN FACT, Democrats have driven up the costs of living by:
- greatly increasing government spending on social programs, triggering money printing that inflates the prices of everyday expenses and major assets like homes.
- passing green energy mandates that raise the costs of energy and virtually everything else.
- enacting government regulations that increase the costs of products and services.
- socializing the costs of education, housing, and healthcare, which inflates their prices by creating a buffet mentality in which people wantonly consume without regard for costs.
- giving unions monopoly powers that raise taxes and consumer prices.
- being soft and permissive about crime, which cost each U.S. household an average of $36,000 to $45,000 in 2021.
