Biden Laptop Disinformation
Ex-CIA director John Brennan claims that he and his 50 colleagues “never said” that the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop were “disinformation.”
IN FACT, Brennan & company released a letter through Politico claiming that the disclosure of “emails purportedly belonging” to Hunter Biden “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation” — and none of them objected when:
- Politico published their letter under a headline that declared, “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.”
- Joe Biden asserted in a nationally televised presidential debate, “There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant.”
- Adam Schiff, who was then the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, claimed that “this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin.”
- CNN reported that the emails “very well could be connected to some sort of Russian government disinformation campaign.”
- Dozens of other media outlets, Democrats, and “fact checkers” made similar claims.
The same influential group of people then systematically misled the public when the contents of the laptop and a wealth of other incriminating facts showed that Joe Biden had engaged in bribery, extortion, and obstruction of justice.
