Obamacare Costs
Regarding Obamacare, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D–MA) claims it is a “crisis” that “22 million Americans will see their health insurance premiums more than DOUBLE on average” and asserts that “Democrats want to lower those costs.”
IN FACT, only the fraction of the premiums not borne by taxpayers will double — from an average of just $74/month to $159. Democrats aren’t trying to “lower” costs but transfer them to taxpayers, who already pay $2.6 trillion per year for government health and healthcare programs, an average of $19,000 for every household in the nation in addition to paying for the costs of their own healthcare.
