Expanded Obamacare Subsidies
CBS News claims that the expiration of expanded ACA subsidies is a “lite” “repeal” of Obamacare and will “make health care unaffordable for many Americans.”
IN FACT, the expiration of this Covid-era handout will bring the subsidies back to the levels specified by Obamacare, which was supposed to make healthcare “affordable.” Even without this extra welfare, people with incomes up to 400% of the federal poverty level — or $150,600 for a family of five — will still get subsidies, although they will receive less.
