Inflationary Pressures
Based on a New York Times headline about Trump’s tariffs causing inflation, U.S. Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer claims that “Trump’s policies are a disaster for America, and American families are feeling the pain.”
IN FACT, the average annual rate of inflation during Biden’s presidency was 86% higher than it is right now. This was mainly caused by spending enacted by Democrats, who then falsely blamed the resulting inflation on “price gouging” and “greedflation.”
