Even after footage has surfaced of New York Democrat mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani saying that his “end goal” is “seizing the means of production,” PolitiFact insists he’s not a communist because “experts found his 2021 remark too brief to reach detailed conclusions.”
IN FACT, Mamdani also said that “we firmly believe in” this issue and urged his colleagues to not abandon it and other positions that are “correct” and “right” even though “we do not have” a “groundswell of popular support” for them “at this very moment.”
