Former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger claims that the riots in Los Angeles “wouldn’t happen if the politicians” would pass “comprehensive immigration reform.”

IN FACT, politicians passed comprehensive immigration reform in 1986 as a “one-time resolution of a longstanding problem,” and illegal migration multiplied. Such amnesties reward people for breaking the law, creating incentives for others to do the same.
