Military Parade
CNN’s David Axelrod claims that it’s “waste, fraud and abuse” to spend “$45 million for the president’s Soviet-style military parade on his birthday” while cutting Medicaid and Obamacare.
IN FACT, the parade is to honor the U.S. Army, whose 250th birthday happens to fall on the same day as Trump’s 79th. A cost of $45 million is 0.006% of what the federal government spends per year on Medicaid ($616 billion) and Obamacare ($91 billion).
