Republican Tax Cuts
U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D–CA) claims that Republicans want “tax cuts for billionaires,” which will be “paid for by the rest of us” in “higher taxes” and “fewer services.”
IN FACT, the Republican tax bill keeps the tax rates of the richest 0.1% at current levels, or 3 times that of the middle class. The bill mainly renews the 2017 Trump tax cuts, which apply to ALL taxpayers and have kept taxes at about the same level they have been for the past 70 years:
