New York Times Chief White House Correspondent Peter Baker claims that “immigrants here illegally do not collect Social Security.”
IN FACT, the chief actuary of the Social Security Administration estimated that 700,000 illegal immigrants worked in 2010 by using SS numbers obtained with “fraudulent birth certificates.” Unless they are rooted out, these people have or will collect SS benefits.
