CNN Chief Climate Correspondent Bill Weir claims that “every barrel” of fossil fuels “moves us closer to a climate crisis, and the alternatives now are cheaper than the petrochemicals.”

IN FACT, fears of a “climate crisis” are undercut by wide-ranging climate-related measures that have stayed level or improved for the past 30–170 years. The notion that wind and solar are cheap is disproven by the fact that they provide only 6% of U.S. energy after decades of aggressive subsidies.
