President Biden claims that he is “commuting the sentences of nearly 2,500 people convicted of non-violent drug offenses” to right “historic wrongs.”
IN FACT, illicit drugs killed 86,500 people via accidental overdoses in the U.S. during 2021. At this rate, 1 out of every 50 Americans will ultimately be killed by these “non-violent” crimes.
