Hunting Political Opponents
U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D–CT) claims that “Pam Bondi was chosen to be Attorney General because she will allow Trump to turn the Department of Justice into an operation to hunt his political opponents.”
IN FACT, Democrats have repeatedly done what Murphy is accusing Bondi and Trump of plotting to do:
1) A Soros-funded Democrat prosecutor who campaigned for office by declaring that the “most important” thing he could do was hold Trump “accountable” for “lawlessness” prosecuted Trump for a crime never before charged in the history of the nation.
2) Joe Biden’s DOJ appointed a special counsel who prosecuted Trump for the “crime” of citing data from a PhD-vetted study to challenge election fraud.
3) Two weeks after FBI officials texted each other derogatory remarks about Trump as he overtook Hillary Clinton in the polls, they launched a full investigation into Trump’s orbit based on “unvetted hearsay information” while misleading a court to obtain search warrants.
4) Democrat officials in multiple states tried to unilaterally remove Trump from the ballot by falsely accusing him of engaging in an insurrection (struck down 9–0 by the U.S. Supreme Court).
5) Biden’s DOJ and FBI raided the home of Donald Trump and prosecuted him for having classified documents, even though Joe Biden had classified documents in his home but wasn’t charged because he was an “elderly man with a poor memory.”
6) Biden’s FBI and DOJ stormed the home of a pro-lifer and prosecuted him for shoving an abortion clinic worker who was harassing one of his children (charges dismissed by a jury after less than an hour of deliberation).
7) Biden’s DOJ prosecuted more than a hundred J6 protestors by misapplying a law about “obstructing an official proceeding” while simultaneously praising Democrat protestors who did the same (struck down 6–3 by the Supreme Court).
In sum, Murphy is projecting, or blaming Trump and Bondi for the misdeeds of Democrats.
