Congressman Jerry Nadler (D–NY) claims that the 2nd Amendment “right to bear arms” only applies to “militias” and that “the radical Supreme Court” was “wrong” to rule that it is a “personal” right.
IN FACT, the 2nd Amendment directly states that it is a “right of the people.” Furthermore Constitution-era books document that “militia” includes all citizens “who arm themselves, upon a short warning, for their own defense.”
