IN FACT, a 2016 Department of Justice survey of prisoners who were jailed for crimes while possessing guns revealed that less than 1% of them obtained the firearms at a gun show. In contrast, 43% obtained the guns via an illegal/street source, 25% from family/friends and 8% from a gun store.
