U.S. v. Soviet Rights
Bernie Sanders claims that government has “no business interfering with the very personal decision about how or whether to have children.”
IN FACT, the Declaration of Independence states that governments exist to “secure” the “rights” to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
And the facts of science are clear that every new human life begins at fertilization — not at birth — as Sanders’ position demands.
Sanders’ positions about what should be “rights” (like healthcare, paid vacation, paid family and medical leave, retirement income, paid maternity leave, and free childcare and college) reflect the Soviet Constitution and are at odds with the U.S. Constitution he swore to uphold.
