House Democrat Dan Goldman claims that the Senate Border Act of 2024 “reads like a GOP wish list,” but Republicans oppose it because “they would rather have chaos at the border for their political purposes.”
IN FACT, 100% of House Democrats voted against a GOP bill that would hire more border agents, stop asylum abuse, build the wall, and require businesses to use E-Verify. Furthermore, Goldman’s claims about the Senate bill are at direct odds with the Senate Democrat who created it:
