Food Inflation
President Biden claims that food prices are high because corporations are “ripping people off,” and the New York Times is reporting that Biden’s “aides say those comments are a preview of more pressure to come against grocery chains.”
IN FACT, wholesale food prices have risen by more than retail food prices during Biden’s presidency.
Inflation is mainly caused by federal deficit spending and money printing. Yet, Biden and other liberals like Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren and Cal Berkeley Professor Robert Reich are blaming grocery stores for the consequences of these liberal policies.
