Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D–CA) claims that “millions of families are saving an average of $800 a year in health care costs from Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act.”
IN FACT, the “Inflation Reduction Act” increases Obamacare exchange subsidies for families with incomes up to $304,100 per year and forces taxpayers to pick up the tab. This is welfare, not “saving.”
