Inflation Reduction Act
Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claims that the president’s “Inflation Reduction Act” is funding “electric vehicle charging stations” that create “cleaner air,” “better health,” and “good-paying jobs.”
IN FACT, manufacturing, charging, operating, and disposing of electric vehicles produces significantly more toxic pollutants than conventional cars. The “Inflation Reduction Act” does almost nothing that Democrats claim it does.
