Congressman Robert Garcia (D–CA) claims, “No family in the history of our nation has benefitted more financially from being in the White House than the Trump Family. They accepted millions in foreign gifts and payments and they must be investigated and held accountable.”

IN FACT, Trump’s wealth plunged by $0.7–$2.3 billion during his presidency, and he donated to the U.S. Treasury the profits his businesses earned from foreign officials. In contrast, many politicians have acquired great wealth from being in office.
