Obamacare & Preexisting Conditions
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D–CA) claims that “140 million Americans with pre-existing medical conditions” will lose their health insurance if Obamacare is terminated.
IN FACT, Obamacare’s mandate on preexisting conditions only applies to people who seek insurance after they get sick — not everyone with a health condition. That undermines the very concept of insurance, and the added costs are borne by people who pay for insurance before they get sick.
