Busing Migrants
CNN claims, “The federal government is supposed to oversee border policy instead of the current system where migrants are bused north as a political statement by Republican governors.”
IN FACT, the Constitution requires the president to ensure that federal laws are “faithfully executed,” but on his first day in office, Joe Biden cancelled an executive order that called for “the faithful execution of the immigration laws of the United States.”
Biden’s failure to enforce those laws has enormous negative impacts on border states like Texas, and these states have every right to offer migrants transportation to states and cities that voted for Biden and claim to embrace illegal immigrants.
The politicians who run these so-called “sanctuary” jurisdictions are now demanding that Biden do his job because busing is forcing them to deal with a fraction of the problems caused by their own policies.
