CNN is reporting that “Lego has abandoned plans to make its famous bricks from recycled plastic bottles, saying that the manufacturing process would be more polluting than the current production of oil-based bricks.”
IN FACT, “green” products and processes sometimes have questionable-to-negative environmental impacts. This includes but isn’t limited to electric vehicles, reusable cotton supermarket bags, curbside recycling, and solar panels.
