Correct Answer

Tell Me More

A study of 290,215 older adults recently published by the journal "JAMA Internal Medicine" found that people who smoked 1 to 10 cigarettes per day over their lives "were at substantially higher risk of premature mortality" than non-smokers. The study also found that these early deaths were generally due to a "broad spectrum of smoking-related causes," and even people who smoked less than 1 cigarette per day had a greater risk of early death.
